Inspire Business Interiors is a full service interior design firm and office furniture dealership specializing in planning, providing and servicing today’s business environments. Our team members have a combined +74 years of service in the design industry. Since 1998 we have proudly served the greater Tri-Cities area, expanding to the southern most tip of the Appalachian Highlands region which includes Western North Carolina and Southwest Virginia. Inspire Business Interiors has successfully completed a wide range of multi-faceted projects; including corporate offices, financial institutions, medical and health care facilities,government agencies, retail establishments and manufacturing facilities.
Inspire’s principal, Tracy Johnson, is actively involved in managing customer accounts while running every aspect of the day-to-day business.

Specialists from the areas of design, sales, operations and customer service all come together to provide our clients with quality products and a very special kind of individual service. Inspire Business Interiors team makes sure that planning, ordering, shipping, delivery, and installation are coordinated ensuring the flow of systems and products can be as rapid and smooth as possible.
The Inspire Business team will cover every phase of your project. From tracking orders every step of the way, to warehousing, to fast and efficient installation by factory trained professionals, we have you covered. Following up after the installation, the Inspire team can include those finishing touches such as art and accessories. From start to finish, your Inspire team will do it all.
We spend a lot of time at the office – almost as much time as we spend at home – so it should be a place where all employees feel comfortable and productive.

Tracy G. Johnson,
Leed AP
Principal
Tracy joined the firm in 1999 as a project Manager. Her primary focus for the greater Tri Cities area is business development and project management. With a sales background of over 27 years, Tracy has a great understanding of client needs, which ensures successful projects. She is committed to excellence when it comes to customer service and prides herself on providing design solutions to clients of all budgets. In 2006, Ms. Johnson took the opportunity to purchase the company from its Knoxville owner and now acts as the principal of the firm, still very much engaged in business development and client relationships. She volunteers her time serving on the Industrial Development Board of Johnson City, Jeremiah School Board of Directors and serves as current President of the Connect Downtown Johnson City Board.
Mike Andrews,

Project Manager
Mike joined the Inspire team in 1999 and is the backbone of the design department. He possesses a vast working knowledge and understanding of general construction and proves to be invaluable on not only new construction projects but renovation work as well. With design experience reaching over 29 years, Mike brings not only an incredible eye for design but also the experience to guide clients as to best practices for budgeting and management to ensure their dreams become reality in the build out process.
Christina Smith
Project Manager
Christina is a Radford University Interior Design graduate with over 29 years of professional experience in the Tri Cities Region. With a strong high end residential portfolio blended with the knowledge of commercial interior needs, Christina brings an elegance to her projects blending the hospitality with the functional. Christina joined the Inspire team in 2017, and enjoys biking, spending time with her family and traveling.
Lindey Spearman
Business Development / Project Management
Lindey initially joined the Inspire team in 2005 as an intern prior to her graduation from East Tennessee State University in Interior Design. Post graduation Lindey moved into the Central Florida market and worked in both design, sales and business development working on multi million dollar projects. With close to twenty years in the design field, she has truly learned every aspect of the furniture industry. In 2023, she and her family returned home to East Tennessee. In Lindey’s spare time- she’s an Uber Driver (aka kids chauffeur!), loves to spend time with family and hike! She has served as a Girl Scout Leader, PTA Volunteer and participated in the Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, and is involved in the local Chamber of Commerce.
Isabelle Tisor
Interior Designer
Isabelle joined the Inspire team after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture from East Tennessee State University in 2022. She works with the design team specifying interior finishes, furniture and produces project renderings. Outside of the office, Isabelle enjoys music concerts and is an avid lover of dogs (especially her own)!
Erica Armbrister
Office Assistant
Erica joined the Inspire team in 2018 as an Office Assistant. She works day to day with not only the design team to order samples for projects, but also works with clients on final project details, punch lists and keeps things running in general at Inspire. Her attention to detail and willingness to jump in and help out makes her an invaluable asset.
